Delete Your SureMedico Account

You can request deletion of your SureMedico account and all associated data at any time. There is no charge and no waiting period beyond the technical processing window described below.

How to request deletion

Send an email from the phone number's registered email or with the registered phone number in the body to:

We acknowledge every request within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with Section 12 of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

What gets deleted

When we process your deletion request, the following are permanently removed from SureMedico servers:

Direct messages1:1 message threads where you are a participant
FCM push tokensDevice tokens used to send you push notifications
OTP delivery logsRecords of OTPs sent to your number
Brownie Points & leaderboard entriesAll gamification data linked to your account

What does NOT happen on deletion

Verifying your identity

To prevent malicious deletion requests, we may reply asking you to confirm by sending a short reply from a device that is currently logged into the SureMedico app with the same registered phone number. This is the only verification step.

After deletion

You can re-register at any time by reinstalling SureMedico and signing in with your phone number. A re-registered account is treated as new — none of your prior posts, reviews, or Brownie Points carry over.
