SureMedico Terms of Use

By using SureMedico you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use SureMedico

SureMedico is a closed network limited to licensed dental and medical professionals aged 18 or over. By creating an account you confirm:

• You hold a valid medical, dental, or allied-health registration with the recognised council or registering authority for the country you practise in (in India, the NMC, DCI or a state council)
• You are 18 or over
• The verification documents you upload are authentic and unaltered
• You are signing up for your own use, not on behalf of someone else

SureMedico reserves the right to deny or revoke access where verification fails or these conditions are not met.

2. Verification & admission

Every account undergoes manual review of registration documents before features unlock. Review usually takes 1–3 business days. Until then, no features are accessible. Misrepresenting your registration may lead to permanent ban and, in serious cases, referral to the relevant medical council.

3. How SureMedico works

SureMedico provides a private network for verified doctors to:

• Send and respond to emergency SOS alerts within a 1 km geographic radius
• Join local doctor circles for case discussion and community organisation
• List availability as a visiting consultant and book peers
• Co-purchase or list equipment
• Request and offer practice support and emergency cover
• Rate verified vendors and labs

SureMedico is a connector. Apart from the measurement aids in Diagnosis Tools (see section 6), we do not provide diagnostic recommendations, treatment plans, drug-interaction guidance, or any clinical decision support.

4. SOS feature — important

The SOS button broadcasts a high-priority push notification to nearby verified doctors. It is a peer-assistance tool and is not a replacement for emergency services (108 in India, 911 internationally), the local police, or the local hospital. Always call statutory emergency services first when life is at risk. Doctors who respond do so voluntarily; SureMedico does not guarantee a response.

5. Your responsibilities

• Keep your registration documents and clinic details up to date
• Use SOS only for genuine emergencies (medical, security, or urgent clinical assistance)
• Do not post patient-identifiable information (names, photos, identifiable case details) anywhere in the app — discuss cases in fully de-identified form only. Analyses you save privately in Diagnosis Tools are covered by section 6.
• Be respectful and professional in all posts, comments, and reviews; abuse, harassment, defamation, or commercial spam will result in suspension
• Honour any commitments made through the app (consultant bookings, equipment pools, coverage requests) — repeated no-shows lead to suspension
• Protect your phone — your access tokens live on it

6. Patient data & clinical disclaimer

SureMedico is for doctor-to-doctor use. It is not a system of record for patients and must not be used to store, transmit, or process protected health information (PHI), except the photos, X-rays and measurements you choose to save in Diagnosis Tools under the rules below. If you discuss clinical cases inside circles, ensure they are fully de-identified.

Information shared by other doctors inside SureMedico (clinical opinions, vendor reviews, marketplace listings) is provided peer-to-peer and is not endorsed, verified, or warranted by SureMedico. You are responsible for clinical judgement, regulatory compliance, and any decision arising from such information.

Diagnosis Tools and saved patient images

1. Diagnosis Tools give measurements based on the points you place and on published population averages. Results depend on the image quality, the patient's head position and where the points are placed. They are an aid to your own clinical judgement, not a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation, and you remain fully responsible for every clinical decision.
2. You may save a patient's photo or X-ray with its measurements to your account only if you have that patient's consent (or their guardian's, for a minor) to take and keep it. You confirm this each time you save.
3. Saved analyses are for your own professional use. Do not upload images you have no right to use, or images unrelated to dental care.
4. You can delete a saved analysis at any time, and all of them are deleted when you delete your account. We may remove a saved image that breaks these terms.

7. Brownie Points

Brownie Points are a non-monetary recognition signal. They have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be redeemed for goods or services, and may be reset or recalibrated by SureMedico at any time without compensation.

8. Content rights

You retain ownership of content you post (circle posts, comments, marketplace photos, vendor reviews). By posting, you grant SureMedico a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content to other verified SureMedico users and to remove it where it violates these Terms.

9. Prohibited use

• Sharing your account or login credentials with anyone, including non-verified colleagues
• Scraping, automated scraping, or bulk download of SureMedico content
• Posting advertising, recruiting, MLM, or commercial promotions outside the marketplace and vendor sections
• Posting patient-identifiable information
• Triggering SOS for non-emergencies (testing aside; misuse leads to suspension)
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or modifying the app or its API surface

10. Termination

SureMedico may suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these Terms, for revoked medical registration, or for sustained inactivity. You may delete your account at any time by emailing suremedicomail@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

11. Liability

SureMedico is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SureMedico, its operators, and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of practice, loss of revenue, or harm arising from clinical decisions, SOS responses, equipment co-purchase disputes, or content posted by other users. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed ₹1,000.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The Last updated date will change, and material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect. Continuing to use SureMedico after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree, you may delete your account.
